Dalkhola police seize 11 kg of ganja on National Highway 12 and arrest two

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Dalkhola police arrested two women with 11 kg of ganja in the bypass area of National Highway 12 at night. The paper said police received information that two women were moving about below the underpass on the bypass road towards the college, and that a search of the bags they were carrying produced the ganja. Both were named in the report and their address given as the Matigara area of Siliguri. The inspector in charge told the paper a case had been registered, that the two were produced at the Raiganj special court and that the judge ordered 14 days of judicial custody. Police said they had begun questioning the two about who was sending the consignment on the Matigara to Dalkhola route.
