Siliguri police seize 25 kg of ganja at Jhankar More and arrest one

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Siliguri police station arrested a man carrying ganja at Jhankar More at night. The report said plain-clothes officers acting on information detained him under an unfinished flyover, and that a white sack he was carrying held six packets of ganja weighing 25 kg in total. The man was named in the report and given as a resident of Chakdaha in south Bengal. Police told the paper he had brought the consignment from Cooch Behar to sell in Siliguri.
