Bagdogra police and the commissionerate special operations group seize 54 kg of ganja from two cars on National Highway 31

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that plain-clothes police from Bagdogra police station and the special operations group of the commissionerate seized 54 kg of ganja and arrested five men. The report said police stopped two cars on National Highway 31 near the Muni tea garden not far from Bagdogra in the afternoon, and that a search produced seven packets wrapped in paper and bound with tape, each holding 7 to 8 kg of ganja. All five were named in the report. Police said the five told them under questioning that the consignment was being taken from Sitalkuchi to Kishanganj.
