New Jalpaiguri police seize 72 kg 600 g of ganja from a goods vehicle on Canal Road at Fulbari

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that plain-clothes police from New Jalpaiguri police station stopped a four-wheeled goods vehicle in the Chobabhita area of Canal Road at Fulbari in the afternoon and recovered 72 kg 600 g of ganja. The report said police acted on information received. The driver was arrested and named in the report and described as a resident of Cooch Behar, and the consignment was seized. Police said the ganja was being moved from Cooch Behar to Malda.
