Kharibari police seize 175 kg of ganja from two cars on National Highway 327 at Banchhabhita

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Kharibari police stopped two four wheeled vehicles in the Banchhabhita area of Kharibari late on Wednesday night and seized 175 kg of ganja, arresting two men. The report said the vehicles were travelling on the Bagdogra to Galgalia National Highway 327 and were stopped when police grew suspicious, and that a search produced packets wrapped in plastic and stacked in rows. The report put the market value at about 20 lakh rupees. Police said the plan had been to move the consignment into Bihar.
