Kolkata police detective department seize 36 kg of ganja on a Khidirpur footpath and arrest six

Ei Muhurte reported that the detective department of Kolkata Police detained a group of six on the footpath at Khidirpur beside Vidyasagar Setu and recovered 36 kg of ganja. The report said their homes were in the Falta police station area of South 24 Parganas, with several given as Dakshin Mamudpur and one as Jayrampur in the Bishnupur police station area. According to the report the six had gathered on the southern footpath of KP Road, that a case was registered at Hastings police station under the narcotics law, and that the detective department had begun investigating where the consignment was bound.
