Ghoksadanga police seize about 82 kg 400 g of ganja concealed among plastic buckets

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that police stopped an attempt to traffic ganja concealed among new plastic buckets and arrested one man, recovering about 82 kg 400 g of ganja. The man was named in the report and given as a resident of the Sitanagar area of Murshidabad district. The paper said a police team led by the Ghoksadanga officer in charge acted on information and moved to the area beside Hospital Mor on the Pundibari to Falakata national highway, where the man arrived carrying a number of plastic buckets while waiting for a vehicle. Officers searching the buckets found ganja arranged between them. A subdivisional police officer reached the spot and a case was registered under the NDPS Act.
