Bagdogra police arrest a Cooch Behar man with 4 kg of ganja found in airport baggage bound for Bengaluru

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that a man was arrested at Bagdogra airport before boarding a flight to Bengaluru after security staff saw ganja inside his bag during a luggage scan. The report named him and described him as a resident of Sitai in Cooch Behar. It said the ganja was weighed and came to 4 kg in two packets. The report said the CISF and police at the airport outpost were informed, and that police took him to Bagdogra police station and arrested him. Police told the paper he had said he was taking the ganja to sell in Bengaluru.
