Birbhum enforcement branch seize 65 kg of ganja from a state bus at Mohammad Bazar

Sangbad Pratidin reported that 65 kg of ganja was recovered from a government bus at Mohammad Bazar and three women were detained, in a joint operation by the district enforcement branch and the police. The paper put the market value of the seizure at about 75 lakh rupees. According to police as reported, the ganja was hidden in the bus and was being taken from Durgapur towards Murshidabad. The report says the bus was stopped on National Highway 14 near Raipur village in Mohammad Bazar, in an operation led by an enforcement branch deputy superintendent, and that the three women were questioned about where the consignment was going.
