STF and Belda police seize about 500 kg of ganja from an onion lorry on National Highway 60 at Belda

The Bengal Post reported that the Paschim Medinipur STF and Belda police stopped a lorry loaded with onions on National Highway 60 in the Belda area at about 9 pm and recovered ganja which the report gave as about 500 kg, or five quintals. Five people described as interstate traffickers were arrested, and the report said all five were residents of North 24 Parganas district. The lorry and a private four wheeler travelling with it were seized. The report said the consignment was moving from Odisha to Kolkata.
