Dinhata police recover bags of ganja left on a government bus at the Krishimela depot

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that bags of ganja were recovered from a government bus at the Krishimela depot of the North Bengal State Transport Corporation at Dinhata. The paper said that at about half past six in the morning, before a Kaliyaganj bound bus departed, staff carrying out the routine check found two unfamiliar bags, and that two young men sitting in the bus fled before the staff could react. The corporation informed Dinhata police station, and police recovered the two bags and found ganja on searching them. The report gives no weight, so none is carried here.
