Egra police seize more than 100 kg of ganja from a watermelon consignment at a night checkpoint at Kudi

The Wall reported that Egra police running a night checkpoint at Kudi stopped a lorry loaded with watermelons and recovered more than 100 kg of ganja in 51 packets, and that the driver was detained. The report said the consignment was moving from Odisha towards South 24 Parganas. KGP News reported the same interception with the vehicle described as a Bolero pickup van and the quantity as about one quintal in 50 packets, and that account has been taken as a second report of one event rather than of a separate seizure.
