Mekhliganj police seize 16 kg 900 g of ganja from a motorcycle at Chowrangi Bazar

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that police arrested a man with 16 kg 900 g of ganja in the Chowrangi Bazar area of Changrabandha gram panchayat in the evening. The man was named in the report and given as a resident of the Bhogramguri area, and was travelling towards Mainaguri with the ganja in a trolley bag on the back of a motorcycle. The paper said the officer in charge of Mekhliganj police station reached the spot with a police force along with the block development officer after information was received, and that the man was arrested under the narcotics trafficking law.
