Patiram police seize 14 kg of ganja from a bus and arrest its driver and helper

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Patiram police seized 14 kg of ganja and arrested two men at the Taltala Mor bus stand area of Patiram on Republic Day. The paper said police had information that 14 kg of ganja in five packets inside two bags had been loaded at Falakata onto a bus running from Cooch Behar to Balurghat, and that the driver and helper were involved. A police team reached the bus stand before the bus arrived, searched it on arrival and seized the consignment. Both men were named in the report and the bus was seized and taken to the police station.
