Yukthiya operation nets 822 arrests, seizes drugs in 24-hour blitz

The ongoing Yukthiya campaign arrested 822 suspects nationwide in a 24-hour period, with 60 placed under detention orders. Seizures included 273g heroin, 111g ice, and 426 narcotic pills. In a separate Yukthiya raid, Pallewela Police found a locally manufactured firearm in Pasyala. Jaffna Police raided a drug den in Kondavil, seizing 500g of Kerala Ganja, 100g heroin, and 6 narcotic pills.
