New Jalpaiguri police seize 321 kg of ganja from a truck at a dhaba at Jiyaganj in Fulbari

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that New Jalpaiguri police arrested three people and seized a truck at Jiyaganj in Fulbari late at night, recovering 321 kg of ganja in a search. The report said police acted on information that a truck carrying ganja from Assam towards Bihar would stop at a roadside eating place in the Fulbari area, and that plain-clothes police waited there from the evening. Police stopped the truck when it pulled in at a dhaba. The report names none of the three arrested and says police believed more people were involved in the network.
