Dalkhola police seize 2 quintal 30 kg of ganja from a container lorry carrying CISF stickers

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Dalkhola police seized ganja from a Haryana registered container lorry carrying stickers of the Central Industrial Security Force. The paper said police stopped the lorry on National Highway 31 and took it to the Mithapur police camp at Dalkhola, where it was searched in the presence of the subdivisional police officer and a block development officer. About two quintals and thirty kilograms of ganja were seized, with a market value put at about 12 lakh rupees, packed in trolley bags and tin boxes among household furniture. The driver was named in the report and detained, and the lorry had been loaded with household furniture at Agartala and was bound for Delhi.
