Gopalnagar police seize 48 kg 200 g of ganja from a battery rickshaw at Murighata

Ei Muhurte reported that Gopalnagar police station stopped a green battery rickshaw at the Murighata bridge and recovered 48 kg 200 g of ganja carried in sacks. The report named one man as arrested and said a second person travelling with him left the scene and was being looked for. The outlet said the vehicle was moving from the direction of Chakdaha in Nadia towards the Bangladesh border, and that police believed at a preliminary stage that the ganja was intended for Bangladesh.
