Chopra police seize about 7.5 kg of ganja from a private bus at Sonapur

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Chopra police recovered about 7.5 kg of ganja by searching a private bus and arrested one man, who was named in the report. The paper said the search was made at a checkpoint on the national highway in the Sonapur area of Chopra police station. Police had stopped a passenger bus running from Siliguri towards Dalkhola. Police told the paper the ganja was believed to be moving for trafficking and that the investigation was continuing.
