CID and Kharagpur rural police seize 98 kg of ganja at Chowrangi and arrest two

The Bengal Post reported that a CID team working with Kharagpur rural police waited at Chowrangi in the Kharagpur Rural police station area and stopped a Suzuki Ritz at about 8 pm, recovering 98 kg of ganja. Two men were arrested and named in the report, one of them given as a resident of Andul in Howrah and as originally from Jharkhand. The report said the car was coming from Odisha and heading towards Durgapur, and that the two were to be produced at Medinipur court the following day.
