Jalpaiguri Kotwali police recover 110 kg of ganja from a house at Panda Para

Ei Muhurte reported that Jalpaiguri Kotwali police received word on Saturday morning that a large quantity of ganja was stored at a house in the Panda Para area of Jalpaiguri town, and that plainclothes officers raided it. The inspector in charge of Kotwali police station told the outlet the team went to the house with a magistrate and recovered 110 kg of ganja in 18 packets. The report said the householder left when police arrived and officers were searching for him. It added that residents had complained of a rise in the drug trade in the town.
