West Bengal CID seize 195 kg of ganja and banned cough syrup in a raid at Kuchaidanga in Nadia

The Criminal Investigation Department of the West Bengal police recovered 195 kg of ganja and 5,400 bottles of banned cough syrup at Kuchaidanga village in Hogolberia, an official told the news agency IANS. The Tribune reported that officers acted on a tip-off and searched a residence in the village. Two men were named in the report as the accused. A deputy inspector general of the state CID was quoted describing the pair as known in the area.
