Paotingfu General Population 1925 is a historical seed accession of Cannabis sativa that the United States Department of Agriculture received from Paotingfu (today's Baoding), in Hebei, China, on 5 May 1925 and numbered plant introduction (PI) 63916.[1] No seed of the lot survives. The National Plant Germplasm System, whose database carries the department's introductions, says the accession "no longer exists and can not be requested".[1]
The lot
P. H. Dorsett, the department's agricultural explorer, obtained seed in Chihli Province that the department received on 5 May 1925. The printed inventory lists this hemp as his number 2335, Paotingfu, 10 March 1925.[2]
