Valdivia General Population 1928 is a historical seed accession of Cannabis sativa that the United States Department of Agriculture received from Valdivia, Chile on 20 September 1928 and numbered plant introduction (PI) 77397.[1] No seed of the lot survives. The National Plant Germplasm System, whose database carries the department's introductions, says the accession "no longer exists and can not be requested".[1]
The lot
J. A. Momberg presented the seed through Lyster H. Dewey, of the Bureau of Plant Industry, with a second lot from Lanco (NPG-CHL-UNK-0019280002). The department's printed inventory describes this one as "A variety grown at the city of Valdivia".[2]
