Llanera is a name for a Colombian cannabis. A poster on the grower forum Overgrow named it in 2021 among the Colombian kinds, writing that calling them all "Colombian" would be "like calling all the Columbian varieties Colombian rather than Punta Roja, mangobiche, corinto, llanera etc…".[1] The seed seller The Landrace Team sells a line it calls Colombian Black (Llanera).[2]
Seed sold under the name
The Landrace Team places its line in "Los Llanos. Colombia-Casanare" and calls it "a variety from the plains of Colombia in the Casanare department". It says that collectors formerly called the plant Colombian Black, for a phenotype of a dark purple colour, and that it also has green phenotypes. The listing describes a conical plant up to three metres tall, with a vegetative stage of 15 to 20 weeks and a flowering stage of 12 to 17 weeks.[2] In January 2024 the seller told a buyer that a member of the team had collected it in Colombia.[3]
