1970 Colombian Gold 2021 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that Hippie Cannabis Genetics (HCG) sells as 1970 Colombian Gold. HCG calls it a long-flowering tropical sativa and says that it was "Reproduced from original 52+ year old seeds (at time of reproduction)".[1] The year in the name is the one HCG gives the line; HCG says that the person who collected it also collected its 1971 Panama Red and its 1973 Durban.[2]
History
The earliest dated mention of the line found is a post of 2 October 2021 on the growers' forum Overgrow. In it the member TestOfOath wrote of having 1970 Colombian Gold "that was preserved by Hippie Cannabis Genetics", and gave its flowering time as around 16 weeks; the plant the member grew proved to be male.[3]

HCG describes a sweet, cedar-like and spicy smell and taste.[1]
