CU-MN 20162536 (1970) is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected at Chiang Mai, Thailand, on 30 September 1970 (30 กันยายน 2513) by ชัยเดช and colleagues. The Museum of Natural Medicines at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok holds the sheet as CU-MN 20162536 (1970).[1]
Collection and locality
The database gives the place as เชียงใหม่ (Chiang Mai), the collector as ชัยเดช ชาตรี วิชัย สุพงศ์ สุรเดช สุรเชษฐ์ สุรเชษฐ์ and the date as 30 กันยายน 2513.[1] It gives no altitude and no coordinate.[1]
Habitat
The database gives the habitat and soil as ที่ชื้นแฉะและเย็น (a damp, wet and cool place).[1]
Specimen and identification
The database files the sheet under Cannabis sativa, family Cannabinaceae, with the Thai name กัญชา (kancha) and the catalogue number CU-MN 20162536 (1970).[1]
The sheet carries an original printed label headed SCHOOL OF PHARMACY, BANGKOK and FLORA OF THAILAND, with lines for the collector, the collector's number, the date, the scientific and local names, the locality and the habitat. The museum's database does not key the label's own number or the collector's number, and the published image is too small to read them with confidence. The sheet is stored in cabinet 5, slot D5.[2]
