The Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing holds the sheet as PE 01724558.[1] No image of the sheet is published; this page reports the herbarium's catalogue.
Collection and locality
The catalogue, published through the National Specimen Information Infrastructure of China (NSII), gives the collector as Anonymous with no number, the country Japan with no place within it, and the date 29 August 1906.[1] GBIF gives the same sheet the place 东京 (Tokyo), the collector Anonymous and the year 1906.[2] In 1906 Tokyo was a city of fifteen wards and also the name of the prefecture around it.
Specimen and identification
NSII determines the specimen as Cannabis sativa, in the family Cannabaceae,[1] and GBIF as Cannabis sativa L.[2] The herbarium publishes no image of the sheet, and its label has not been read for this page.
