Anon. s.n., Miura is a herbarium accession of cultivated Cannabis sativa from Japan, labelled Miura and dated September 1891, with the Japanese name asa. The Moscow University Herbarium holds the sheet as MW0736232.[1]
Collection and locality
The label, written in ink on a slip of brown paper under the herbarium's stamp, reads Cannabis sativa L., Asa jap. name, Miura, japan cultivated and Sept. 1891. A printed numbered ticket, 435., is glued to its corner. It names no collector.[2] The catalogue gives the year and month, with no collector and no place.[1]
Specimen and identification
The sheet carries a large branched plant, dried brown, with dense flowering clusters along its stems.[2] The name Cannabis sativa L. heads the label without a determiner's name, and the catalogue files the sheet under the same name.[2][1]
