Anon. 6874 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected in Shanxi (then Shansi), China, on 10 August 1922, with no collector named. The Tianjin Natural History Museum holds the sheet as TIE 00004155[1].
Collection and locality
The sheet carries a printed French form headed Herbier, with lines for the family, the scientific and common names, the station, the locality, the date and the plant's properties and uses, completed by hand: the number 6874, the family Moraceae, the name Cannabis sativa L. with Recogn.: J. Kozlov in pencil, the locality Shansi and the date 10. VIII. 22 (10 August 1922).[2] The catalogue gives the year 1922 and Shaanxi, with no collector.[1]
Specimen and identification
The sheet carries a tall male plant with a long woody root, a leafy stem and a long flowering top. The form names it Cannabis sativa L., recognised by J.
