Velasco s.n., Bogotá is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa grown in pots in an office in Bogotá, Colombia, from seed the label says came from Palmira in the Valle del Cauca. Luis Velasco collected the two sheets on 3 October 1972, and the herbarium of the National University of Colombia (COL) holds them as catalogues 125226 and 125227.[1][2]
Collection and locality
Both COL catalogue entries give the note Semillas procedentes de Palmira (Valle). Sembradas en Bogotá el 25-09-1968. Siembras cada 8 meses en materas mantenidas en la oficina. (Seed from Palmira, Valle. Sown in Bogotá on 25 September 1968. Sown every eight months in pots kept in the office.)[1][2] Catalogue 125226 adds Última siembra Abril 25/72, hembra y en Julio 25/72, macho (last sowing 25 April 1972, female, and 25 July 1972, male), and its verbatim locality reads Sembradas en Bogotá.[1]
