Page scope
Landrace Bureau is an Organisation, a prose entity page. It documents the seller and what it says about its seed lines. Lines held as seed are documented as Accessions, and the article lists them by query rather than by hand. Russian Landrace Bureau redirects here.
Sourcing
The article rests on the seller's own website and its entries on the strain database SeedFinder, read on 19 October 2026, and on listings by other sellers that name the Russian Landrace Bureau. Everything taken from the seller's site or SeedFinder entries is the seller's account and is attributed as such. Discuss attribution, independent sourcing and any claim that has migrated into the wiki's own voice here.

Sources read

The website's home page, its about and disclaimer text, and 40 product pages were read on 19 October 2026. The SeedFinder breeder page and the entries for the company's 35 lines were read the same day; the lineages given in the Hybrids section come from those entries. The listings of The Real Seed Company and Kwik Seeds for Kazakh Ruderalis were read on 17 September 2026 for RLB-KAZ-JAM-0120190001, and the Khalifa Genetics Siberian Ruderalis listing on 12 October 2026 for KHA-RUS-CHE-0120190001. They are reused here with their original access dates.

No independent coverage of the company was found: no news report and no peer-reviewed paper names it. Archived copies of the website from February 2021 onward and Overgrow forum threads were read on 21 October 2026 for the company's Russian accessions; the Talk pages of those accessions give what each says.

The two names

The page treats Landrace Bureau and the Russian Landrace Bureau as one organisation, and the second name redirects here. The basis is the company's own listings. Its Kazakhstan listing describes the 2019 Jambyl collection that The Real Seed Company and Kwik Seeds credit to the Russian Landrace Bureau, and its sourcing line reads "Russian Landrace Bureau Kazakhstan, 2019". Its Crimea listing says that the seed was sourced "by the Russian Landrace Bureau". Its SeedFinder entry for Tashkurgan says that the company traded its Siberian, Ukrainian, Kazakh and Kurgan seed in a seed swap, and the Tashkurgan listing names the other party as The Real Seed Company. Its SeedFinder profile uses "Guardians of the Lost Terps" for its own work, and Khalifa Genetics calls "Guardian of the Lost Terps" a member of the Russian Landrace Bureau.

No source read states in so many words that the two names belong to one organisation. The article therefore joins them only through the listings' own wording, attributed, and does not describe "Russian Landrace Bureau" as a former or alternative name.

The Landrace Team also names the Russian Landrace Bureau as the source of one of its Siberian lines (see The Landrace Team). That listing has not been read for this page.

Editorial treatment

  • Base. The about text says that the company operates from Spain, and the infobox gives the country only. Several listings describe seed brought back to the United States and breeding in Alaska and Oklahoma between 2019 and 2022. The article reports what the listings say and does not date a move.
  • Founding date. "Established 2015" is the website footer's claim. The infobox gives it, and the article attributes it.
  • Contact details. The website gives an email address. The wiki does not reproduce contact details for a seller still trading.
  • "Guardian of the Lost Terps". The SeedFinder profile uses it for the company's aim and for a series of its hybrids, and Khalifa Genetics uses it for a person. It is quoted, never treated as a collector's name.
  • "Landrace", "wild", "feral", "pure". These are the seller's descriptions and are attributed. Neither "not reproduced" nor the SeedFinder lineage "(F4)" given for Siberian Landrace Bashkortostan is adopted; see below.
  • Spelling in quotations. "Kazakstani boarder", "Aquired", "Kazakstan" and "Bashkortpstan" are the listings' own spellings and are kept inside quotation marks.
  • Rugo Monteto. The SeedFinder text spells the series "RUGO MONTETO" and the partner "Ruga Monteto". The article keeps both, as given.
  • Links. Kwik Seeds, SeedFinder, Simply Professional Formula Nutrients, Lake Chebarkul, Roman-Kosh and Homer are left unlinked: no page is intended for them. Crimea is left unlinked: no page is intended for it. RLB-RUS-CRI-0120210001 records it under the country Russia, the state that administers it, with a line in the article on the dispute over its status.

Source discrepancies

Lake Chebarkul and Bashkortostan
  • Wild Siberian, Pink Siberian and Black Russian listings: "Location: Lake Chebarkul, Southern Siberian, Bashkortostan Russia". Wild Siberian adds "Lat: 55.1 Lon: 59.9".
  • Lake Chebarkul lies in Chelyabinsk Oblast, not in Bashkortostan. The article names the lake and leaves out the republic.
Whether the Siberian seed is reproduced
  • The website and the SeedFinder text for the Siberian lines: "Unadulterated Pure Feral Regular Seeds Direct from Bashkortpstan not reproduced."
  • SeedFinder's lineage field for Siberian Landrace Bashkortostan: "(F4) »»» Russia - Ruderalis x Russia - Ruderalis".

The article quotes "not reproduced" as the listings' claim. The SeedFinder lineage field may be filled in by the database rather than by the seller.

Xinjiang Landrace
  • "Xinjiang Landrace from an autonomous territory in northwest China." and "obtained through travel in 2017 near the Kazakstani boarder of Almaty".

The listing does not say on which side of the border the seed was collected. The article quotes both phrases and does not place the seed in either country.

Beni Ahmed
  • The Pure Moroccan Beldia from Beni Ahmed listing places Beni Ahmed both in Chefchaouen Province and in "the Chichaoua Province, southwest of Marrakech". The line is not described in the article.

Not in the article

  • The histories of cannabis in Central Asia, Xinjiang, Chitral, Nepal, Crimea and Morocco that the listings give. They are seller copy, not sources on those histories.
  • Lines for which the listings give only a country or region and no source: Malawi, Nepalese (Rolpa), Himalayan Landrace Sativa ("Northern India") and the Beni Ahmed line.
  • The hybrid catalogue beyond the examples named, and the bulk wholesale offer.
