Evidentiary scope
The article rests on a single cocogenes.com listing, archived from 16 January 2021, with three later captures (21 January 2022, 29 March 2023, 14 September 2024) not separately cited here. Two Overgrow posts (Upstate, January and April 2021) add an independent trait claim. Zomia Collective's own, separate Grahan Valley product page and the wiki's own existing Grahan article are discussed below for the name collision and the georeferencing question, but neither is treated as evidence about Coco Genes' own collection. Georeferencing
The listing states a coordinate, "31.3830° N, 77.0094° E", on a page that also says "District : Kullu".[1] Checked against OpenStreetMap on 23 September 2026 (reverse geocode of the stated point): the coordinate lies at Chakrahr, in the hamlet of Feglu, Nihri, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh — about 74 km south-southwest of Grahan as OpenStreetMap places the village (the Kasol–Grahan Trail, Kullu district; forward-geocoded separately). This fails the OpenStreetMap check this batch's ruling sets (RULINGS_2026-09-23.md §3): the point does not land in the stated district. Per that ruling, the coordinate is recorded here, verbatim and attributed, and the infobox coordinates field is left empty. elevation is entered as 2298 from the listing's stated altitude, which is not a coordinate and is not part of the failed check.
For reference only, not as this accession's own coordinate: the wiki's existing Grahan article, sourced independently from Zomia Collective and travel/trekking accounts, gives 31.9759, 77.3519 for the village — close to the Kasol–Grahan Trail point used above, and consistent with Grahan being a real, locatable village in Kullu district that Coco Genes' own coordinate simply misses by a wide margin. Source discrepancies
- Collection date versus site category. The listing's own text states "seeds are collected during winter 2019 expedition". The same listing is filed under the site category "2020 Season" (breadcrumb: "Home / Landrace-Seeds / 2020 Season / Grahan Village"; "Categories: 2020 Season, Landrace-Seeds"). Note for anyone re-deriving from the worklist: this "2020 Season" category is present in the raw capture but is not recorded in `worklist_2026-09-23.json`'s `season_category` field for this row, which reads null. Both the stated date and the site category are recorded here; the article and the ID follow the stated date, per the reasoning above, and the two are not reconciled.
- Place, as stated in the two source lanes. `coc_site` (Coco Genes' own listing): "Grahan village, Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, Altitude 2298 m, 31.3830° N 77.0094° E". `coc_forums_resellers` (via the merged worklist row): "Grahan Village, Parvati Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India" — Coco Genes' own listing does not itself use the words "Parvati Valley"; that association is made elsewhere on this wiki (see the existing Grahan and Parvati Valley articles) and in Coco Genes' own organisation-page prose, not on this specific product listing.

Possible duplicate / name collision
Grahan is a real, existing place on this wiki (Grahan, a Locality page sourced from Zomia Collective and independent travel accounts), and it is also the name of a separate, unrelated Zomia Collective product, Grahan Valley. Per Talk:Coco Genes (live), quoted verbatim: "Seed from Rasol and Grahan sold by other holders belongs to separate accessions... Zomia Collective sells... Grahan Valley ('Sourcing: Eloise (2022, 2023, 2024)'). No source read links any of them to Coco Genes." Eight 2022 ZOM-IND-HIM-092022* Grahan selections and three 2025 general-population lines already exist. This accession is not asserted to be the same collection as any of them.
As a further, curious data point (not used in the article): Zomia's own Grahan Valley product page gives its district as "Sosan District" — not a standard administrative district of Himachal Pradesh, and not "Kullu District" as Coco Genes' own listing and the wiki's Grahan article both have it. This is recorded here only because it reinforces that Zomia's Grahan Valley and Coco Genes' Grahan Village are being kept as separate, unreconciled sources, not because either name is preferred over the other.
