Ouami (Keikido) General Population 1930 is a historical seed accession of Cannabis sativa that the United States Department of Agriculture received from Korea on 12 April 1930 and numbered plant introduction (PI) 87141.[1] No seed of the lot survives. The National Plant Germplasm System, whose database carries the department's introductions, says the accession "no longer exists and can not be requested".[1]
The lot
P. H. Dorsett and W. J. Morse, agricultural explorers of the Bureau of Plant Industry, collected seed in Korea in 1930. The department's printed inventory heads their consignment as received through the Bureau of Industry of the Government General at Keijo on 10 March 1930, and in Washington on 12 April 1930. It lists this lot as their number 4519, Ouami, from Keikido (Gyeonggi).[2]
