Amritsar General Population is a seed accession of feral cannabis from Amritsar, India, held by the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) as G 33861. Angus donated the seed, and the system received it on 25 July 2024.[1] According to the donor's note, the seed came from feral plants around houses, by roadsides and in gardens on the outskirts of Amritsar. The note speaks of seas of feral cannabis across the Punjab, in India and still more in Pakistan, and the donor classes the lot as a wild type in the sense of a 2020 classification by John McPartland and Ernest Small.[1]
