Ko Phangan is a cannabis growing area on the island of the same name in Surat Thani Province, Thailand, within the Southern Thailand growing region. Its nine accessions, eight general populations and one selection, come from one inland site, and all of them are classified as hybrids.
Geography
All nine accessions share one point, at 368 m in the island's interior. None gives a district; the island is in Ko Pha-ngan District, which also takes in Ko Tao to the north.
Cultivation
The accessions are Green Phangan and Thai Banana, from the 2024 harvest; three lots each of Yuri Skunk and Yuri Island, from 2025; and a single-plant selection named Member Berry.
They are grown in monoculture for recreation and medicine; the plants are short-day and flower in 14 to 18 weeks. For eight of them the seed came through informal local networks, and cultivation is inactive. Éloïse and Isabella collected eight of them, and Isabella the ninth, on 15 April 2025, on the NST03 expedition.
