Orissa Gold 2016 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that the Indian Landrace Exchange lists in its genetic library as Orissa Gold. The group describes it as a long-flowering line from Odisha, in the east of India.[1]

Collection Details

According to the entry, the seed was collected in 2016 through a ganja farmer near the border of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, which the group calls the AOB.[1]

Cultivation Details

The group gives a flowering time of about 18 to 20 weeks and calls the yields very large. It describes the plant as at home in heat and humidity with little feeding, and suited mostly to a full outdoor season or, at higher latitudes, a greenhouse.[1]

Botanical Characteristics

The entry lists mainly floral aromas with a smell of incense or temple ash, which it compares with Nag Champa, and calls the effect active and euphoric.[1]
