Moroccan Beldia 2022 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that Hippie Cannabis Genetics (HCG) sells as Moroccan Beldia. HCG calls it a classic hashish cultivar from what it calls "the famed hashish region of Morocco", and says that it is "a traditional cannabis cultivar from outside Marrakech" in Morocco.[1]

History

HCG says that the plant was at first smoked as flower mixed with black tobacco, and that at some point in the last century local people began to use it to make hashish.[1]

The earliest dated mention of the line as HCG's found is a post of 22 September 2022 on the growers' forum Overgrow, in which the member PAGODASEEDS listed a cross made with HCG's "Beldia Moroccan Pure Landrace".[2]

Cultivation Details

HCG describes a squat, fast-flowering variety from a dry, hot climate. It says that the line flowers indoors in about 6 to 8 weeks and, in northern regions, finishes outdoors from late August to early September.[1]

Aroma

HCG describes smells of honey, hashish and flowers.[1]

Effects

HCG calls the effect a comfortable cerebral high with good muscle and joint relaxation.[1]
