Collection and locality
The catalogue, published through the National Specimen Information Infrastructure of China (NSII), gives no collector and no number, the country Japan with no place within it, and the date 16 September 1921.[1] GBIF gives the same sheet the place 东京 (Tokyo) and the year 1921.[2] In 1921 Tokyo was a city of fifteen wards and also the name of the prefecture around it.
Specimen and identification
NSII determines the specimen as Cannabis sativa, in the family Moraceae,[1] and GBIF as Cannabis sativa L.[2] The herbarium publishes no image of the sheet, and its label has not been read for this page.
