Template:Portal/SelectedPicture/Entry

One picture in a portal's picture list, the page Portal:Name/Pictures. The portal's "Selected picture" box rotates through every picture on its list; a portal without a list rotates through the figures its articles use.

Usage:

Parameters:

• File – file name, without the File: prefix
• Focal – the point the crop centres on, across then down, in percent. The box is a fixed

 4:3 frame the picture fills, so 50% 0% keeps the top of a tall picture and
 50% 50% its centre.

• Fit – optional; whole shows a diagram or chart saved as JPEG whole instead of

 cropping it. PNG and SVG files are always shown whole, and their Focal is not used.

• Caption – optional; what the picture shows, in plain text (no links, no |, no

 braces). Shown under the picture instead of the article's caption; empty falls back to the article's.

• Page – an article that uses the picture. Its caption for the picture is shown, and the

 box names and links the article.

On the list page each line shows the picture as the box will crop it, so the focal point can be checked there. Inner render: Template:Portal/SelectedPicture/Render.
