The collection record for this accession gives no country or province. The infobox gives Nepal and Sudurpashchim Province on these grounds:

The coordinate (30.129968, 80.882539) falls in Darchula District, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal, in the OpenStreetMap boundary relations, inside the area OpenStreetMap maps as Chhangru village.
Chhangru is the village named in the accession's name. The coordinate lies 90 m from the OpenStreetMap point for the village and 415 m from the boundary with India. Garbyang, on the Indian side, lies about 2.5 km to the west.
The accession name also gives Tinkar Valley, which lies in Darchula District, Nepal.

Accession ID: NEP to NPL

Retitled from ZOM-NEP-TIN-0920250001 on 23 September 2026. The seed accession ID grammar (section 8B of the project's naming convention) takes the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code, which for Nepal is NPL; NEP is the IOC code. The four RSC Nepal accessions already used NPL, so the two holders now agree. A redirect is kept at the old title. The expedition code NEP01 belongs to a separate series and is unchanged. Éloise
