Page scope
Vijaya treats vijayā as one of the Sanskrit names for cannabis. It covers the form of the name, the homonym problem that limits its value as evidence and its attestation in the Sanskrit texts and lexicons. Later sections treat its place in Ayurveda, in rasaśāstra and Tantra and in modern Indian medicine and law.

File:Cannabis-vijaya-nighantu-folio.jpg(lead image, in the series box): a photograph of a folio from a Sanskrit nighaṇṭu (a lexicon of materia medica) or an Ayurvedic compendium showing a list of plant synonyms, on palm leaf or in an early printed edition. A modern commercial or wellness-brand image would not serve. The Wellcome Collection's online copy of a printed Bhāvaprakāśanighaṇṭu is marked as in copyright.File:Cannabis-vijaya-shodhana-leaf.jpg(Vijayā in Ayurveda): a photograph of dried cannabis leaf being washed in water or ground on a stone slab in an Ayurvedic pharmacy, illustrating śodhana, the purification of the leaf before it is compounded. It shows leaf material, not flowering tops. A contributor's own photograph under a free licence would suit.
