Evidentiary scope
The catalogue entry places the plant in a pot on the terrace of the university's Institute of Natural Sciences. Valderrama's number 1 (Valderrama 1 (1977)) was collected the same day at the same place. A plant raised in a pot, planter or glasshouse at a university is not a crop of the place, so the accession is classified Other, by inference from the catalogue. No conservation priority is assigned.
Georeferencing
The point 4.64, −74.09 is the Bogotá campus of the National University of Colombia, the Ciudad Universitaria, OpenStreetMap relation 10307846 (about 1.2 km², point 4.6387, −74.0852; Wikidata Q7894591). The catalogue places the plant on the campus and names no mapped spot on it; the campus reaches 0.83 km from the point, and with 1 km added for the two-decimal form the uncertainty is about 2 km. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 2 km.
Editorial treatment
Two sheets. Catalogues 179739 and 184986 give the same collector, number, date and locality; 184986 names no determiner.
Collector. The collector field takes the name as the catalogue entry gives it, Beatriz de Valderrama; the title takes Valderrama.
