Discussion

Evidentiary scope

The page rests on the strainguide entry Yunnan, read through its Wayback capture of 29 January 2008. The entry gives a name and a map point only. It does not say that the collective held seed of the line, where seed came from or when. Éloise 22:19, 12 October 2026 (+07)

Georeferencing

The entry's point, "25.433,100.700,4", is the strainguide's own placing of the entry on its world map (latitude, longitude and zoom level). It is entered as published, 25.433, 100.700. It reverse-geocodes in OpenStreetMap (6 October 2026) to Yunnanyi, Xiangyun County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, in the place the entry names. The strainguide placed entries on a world map at zoom level 4, so the point marks the entry, not a collection site. One pixel of the map at zoom level 4 is about 10 km across, which is the uncertainty given. Basis: holder's georeference. Uncertainty: about 10 km. Éloise 22:19, 12 October 2026 (+07)
