Discussion

Evidentiary scope

The page rests on the strainguide entry Manga Rosa, read through its Wayback capture of 10 May 2008. Éloise 22:26, 12 October 2026 (+07)

Georeferencing

The entry's point, "-22.95,-43.2,4", is the strainguide's own placing of the entry on its world map (latitude, longitude and zoom level). It is entered as published, -22.95, -43.2. It reverse-geocodes in OpenStreetMap (6 October 2026) to Rio de Janeiro, in the place the entry names. The strainguide placed entries on a world map at zoom level 4, so the point marks the entry, not a collection site. "around here" is not tied to a named place, so no state is entered. One pixel of the map at zoom level 4 is about 10 km across, which is the uncertainty given. Basis: holder's georeference. Uncertainty: about 10 km. Éloise 22:26, 12 October 2026 (+07)

Editorial treatment

• Accession ID. VIB-BRA-UNK-0100000001: VIB; BRA; UNK; 01; 0000, no collection year being stated; 0001.
• Year. "from the 70s" describes the variety, not a collection, so the ID year is 0000.
• Height and flowering. maximum_height 2 from "Atteind les 2 mètres"; flowering 10 and 12 weeks from "10 à 12 semaines". Only the French capture survives. Éloise 22:26, 12 October 2026 (+07)
