Discussion
Evidentiary scope
The label places the plant к юго-западу от г. Троицка, степной склон. (south-west of the town of Troitsk; a steppe slope) on 21 June 1943. It gives no use and no note on cultivation. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the label; the label does not say whether the plants descended from a crop. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned. An earlier version of this note classified the sheet as Other because a single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population.

Georeferencing
The point 54.08, 61.55 is the town of Troitsk, OpenStreetMap node 286523928, in Chelyabinsk Oblast. The label says only south-west of the town and names no place or distance, so the point is the town's, not the slope's, and is not moved towards the south-west. The Russian Wikipedia puts the town 6 km from the border with Kazakhstan, and to the south-west the border is that close: a slope more than about 6 km out in that direction would lie in Kazakhstan today. The label's printed Chelyabinsk Oblast is what the country and province fields follow. SRTM gives 170 m; the label gives no altitude. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 6 km.
Editorial treatment
Classification. A steppe slope says nothing of cultivation; the accession is classified Other.
Urals. The form is headed Plants of the Urals. The page gives the country and the province of the label, Chelyabinsk Oblast in Russia, and makes no claim about where the Urals, or Europe and Asia, end.
Collector. The collector field takes the label's printed L. A. Utkin. No source read for this page gives his full name, which is not linked. His other sheets from near Troitsk are Utkin s.n., Troitsk (1941) and Utkin s.n., Zolotaya Sopka (1943).
