The border is the municipality of Toribío (OpenStreetMap relation 1740146; DIVIPOLA code 19821), simplified; about 490 km². The point in the infobox is the centre of the border, not a field.

- The status is Active: the sources describe marijuana grown in the municipality after 2000, the latest in 2023–2024.
- The Ministry of Defence's eradication dataset lists, for Toribío with crop type marihuana: 15 rows, 5 June 2011 to 10 July 2019, 12.33 hectares (downloaded 20 October 2026). The figures on the page are sums of those rows.
- The CAPAZ count of about 5,000 growers in 2019 comes from Corporación Ensayos (2020), which was not read; Indepaz estimated 8,000 in 2023–2024. The two figures are of different years and methods and are both given. The growers quoted by Semana (2018) and El Espectador (2022) are identified there by first name only.
