Evidentiary scope
The label places the plant at the eastern foot of Mount Khayrakan in the Ulug-Khem raion of Tuva in July 1946: Среди чия на месте старого стойбища. (among chiy, a Russian name for steppe grasses, on the site of an old herders' encampment). It gives no use and no note on cultivation, and it says nothing of how the plant came there. The name Cannabis ruderalis on the label is the collector's determination from the specimen, not a record of where the plant grew. The plant grew among steppe grass on old camp ground, outside cultivation. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the label; the label does not say whether the plants descended from a crop. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned. An earlier version of this note classified the sheet as Other because a single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population.

Georeferencing
The point 51.572055, 93.053169 is the one the herbarium's database publishes for this sheet, found by its automatic place-name system. It lies 2.0 km east-north-east of the summit of Mount Khayyrakan (Хайыракан, OpenStreetMap node 6787792787), on the lower eastern slope at 637 m by SRTM, against about 950 m at the summit and 550 m on the plain to the east, in Ulug-Khemsky District, Tuva. The Russian Wikipedia places the mountain in the Ulug-Khem kozhuun between Shagonar and the village of Khayyrakan, as the label's district requires. The label names the eastern foot and no spot along it; the uncertainty covers the foot of the mountain's eastern side. The label gives no altitude. Basis: holder's georeference. Uncertainty: about 3 km.
Editorial treatment
Place. The label's Хайракан is the mountain written Хайыракан (Khayyrakan) today; the locality takes today's form, and the province field Tuva.
Chiy. The label writes only чий. The Russian Wikipedia's Чий блестящий redirects to Неотриния блестящая (лат. Neotrinia splendens) — вид травянистых растений рода Неотриния (Neotrinia) семейства Злаки (Poaceae) (re-read 12 October 2026); the accession page gives that name only to explain the word and does not say which species of the grass grew there.
Collector. The collector and determiner fields take the catalogue's A. I. Shreter, the label's А. И. Шретер. No source read for this page gives his full name, which is not linked.
