Evidentiary scope
The catalogue gives a collector, a number, a date and a locality. It is a single gathering and shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
The Botanical Database of Southern Africa publishes no image of this sheet. Its image count is zero, and so is the image count of all 1,361,966 rows in the database: the store is empty, and SANBI's own site still lists plant images among its plans. The accession carries no image until the herbarium supplies a scan.
Georeferencing
BODATSA records the coordinate's accuracy as 100m, which marks a field reading. The square code 3129DA is carried alongside it in the database.
Editorial treatment
BODATSA publishes no per-specimen page: five permalink shapes were tried for a sheet of this batch and all answered 404. The accession cites the database itself, and the barcode identifies the sheet.
Source discrepancies
The plant description gives the habit as a tree eight metres high. Cannabis is an annual herb and does not reach that height or that habit, so either the growth-form and height fields hold another plant's measurement or the sheet is misdetermined. The description is quoted as the database gives it and is not corrected. The sheet should be seen before the accession is relied on.
