Evidentiary scope

The article rests on the RSC listing for Iranian #2, the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line and RSC's October 2019 blog post on Kushman. Kwik Seeds is the shop RSC calls its other site (RSC, Hemp & Multipurpose). The listings name Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province and the winter 2022 harvest; they name no village or farmer. The sourcing line names Saravan; the listing names "Sistan and Balochistan Province" and gives a latitude of 27° N. The coordinate is the city of Saravan in OpenStreetMap (relation 13103318, whose point is set by its linked place node), rounded to two decimal places: 27.37, 62.34. OpenStreetMap places the city in the Central District of Saravan County, which is entered as the county. The point marks the town the sourcing line names, not a collection site. Editorial treatment

• Accession ID. RSC-IRN-SIS-0120220001 takes SIS from Sistan and Baluchestan Province, entered in the conventional English form with the naming-convention suffix; the listing writes "Sistan and Balochistan". The month digits are 01, and "winter 2022" is entered as the harvest date.
• County. Saravan County is entered as admin_2 with the label County, Iran's second-level unit.
• Collector. Left blank, as on Iranian: the listings credit Kushman.
• Purposes and photoperiod. As on Iranian (see Talk:RSC-IRN-UNK-0120190001): Recreation, Dry-sift and Semi-autoflowering.

Source discrepancies

• Sourcing punctuation. RSC: "Kushman – Saravan, Iran (2022)". Kwik Seeds: "Kushman, Saravan, Iran (2022)", RSC's form in May 2025.
• Genetics line. RSC: "Iranian Cannabis Landrace". Kwik Seeds: "Iranian".
• Description. RSC: "An accession of a cannabis landrace from ‘Sistan and Balochistan Province’". Kwik Seeds: "A newly collected accession from ‘Sistan and Balochistan Province’", RSC's wording in March 2023.
• Similar accessions. RSC names Iranian and Iranian #3; Kwik Seeds names only Iranian.

Archived versions

The Wayback Machine holds nine versions of the RSC listing, from March 2023 to May 2026, and all were read. All give the 2022 harvest from Saravan.

• From March 2023 to May 2025 the listing gave harvest, height, aroma, characteristics and classification as "Unknown", called the line "newly collected" and reported "approx. 100% viability". The May 2025 version also offered the seed at a discount because its viability "may have dropped below 80%".
• The sourcing line read "Kushman, Saravan, Iran, 2022 Harvest" until January 2025, "Kushman, Saravan, Iran (2022)" in May 2025 and the current form from October 2025.
• The comparison with Iranian and Iranian #3 and the note on the summer 2025 retest first appear in October 2025.
